Meet the Greens face to face

Sheffield Green Party are starting their election campaign with a public rally. Their main candidates will be speaking, meeting the public and answering questions at St Matthew’s, Carver Street on Monday, 29th March at 7.30pm. There will also be campaign films and stalls.

Cllr Jillian Creasy,  lead candidate for Sheffield Central Constituency in the General Election,  commented ” We believe people are worried about the economy, the expenses scandal and the increasing privatisation of public services like the NHS. While the big parties are pouring money into this election, Sheffield Green Party has made real progress here by working hard in our communities.

“We talk to thousands of people face to face on the doorstep every year and help them with the issues they face in their local area. This meeting is another face to face opportunity to meet and question our candidates. We hope people will come to hear about our vision for Sheffield and the rest of the country. ”
