Sheffield Green Fair

Sheffield Green Fair is having its 25th birthday this year. It is being held on Saturday June 26th at its popular central venue, St Mary’s Community Centre.

The Fair aims to promote green issues and healthy living, and with six zones there’s something for everyone to enjoy: Green Solutions, Food & Drink, Green World, Kids, Green Living and Green Wellbeing.

The stalls cover a variety of campaigning groups such as Amnesty International and Friends of the Earth; arts and crafts, like Frost Ceramics; alternative lifestyles, including Bella Bella Natural Beauty and Sheffield Vegans; and renewable energy and resources, such as  Solarwall Ltd.

Music will be provided all day by the ever-popular Sheffield Samba Band and Treebeard, among others.

There will be a feast of food and drink, featuring the wholefood cafe, organic, fair-trade and wholefood suppliers, locally grown produce and food manufacturers, and community-based food initiatives.

For the kids, there will be activities all day including face painting, balloons, bouncy castle, circus skills and arts – including the chance to make a ‘gobbit’, a curious little creature that lives in the forest…

Entrance is only £2 (50p concessions.) Tickets can be bought on the gate.

Don’t miss it!
