Green Party Conference in Sheffield this weekend

Members from across England and Wales are coming to the conference of the party that is fighting against cuts and for equality and social justice. Non members can walk in and participate – there will be no ring of steel.

Highlights include the keynote speech by Caroline Lucas MP on Friday afternoon. Plus panel discussions open to the public on tax dodging, equality, nuclear power, air pollution and care for the elderly. Scheduled speakers include Sheffield’s Danny Dorling (Bankrupt Britain), Richard Wilkinson (The Spirit Level) and Kate Hudson (General Secretary, CND).

 

If you are not a member of the party but interested in attending for a day or more there are three options :

Attend as an “observer” at the same rates as members allowing you to attend all sessions but without voting rights. Conference fees are affordable – on a sliding scale according to your income.

–  Attend panel discussions. These are open to the public without charge – see full programme (link to information below).  Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to register.

Contact us for a special cut price one day attendance offer.  Fee refundable if you join the party at the venue during the conference.
