Bedroom Tax Protest in Sheffield

windowtax

Graham Wroe today spoke out for the Greens at the Bedroom Tax demonstration, outside the Town Hall. He said

“The Bedroom Tax is a disgrace because it is an attack on the poorest and most vulnerable members of our community.

But I have some good news. The Green Party may still be small, but we do control one Council in Brighton and Hove. There the Councillors have pledged that no one will be evicted from council housing because they can’t afford the Bedroom Tax. Sheffield City Council, and all other local authorities, should follow their lead.”
