We beat the Tories in Heeley, Netherthorpe, Sharrow and Walkley and were only 20 votes behind them in Nether Edge. We beat the Socialist Alliance in Burngreave and Castle. In Netherthorpe we gained a brilliant 10.3% of the vote and we also gained more than 7% of the vote in Broomhill, Heeley, Nether Edge and Sharrow. These results firmly establish the Green Party as the 4th Party in Sheffield. In 2002 we expect to overtake the Tories in more wards and challenge for second place in our best wards.
