NOTE THE WEATHER FORECASt IS NOT GREAT BUT WE HAVE SOME INDOOR OPTIONS CLOSE BY THE CAFE SO WE WILL GO AHEAD. YOU CAN PICK UP NEWSETTERS FOR LATER DELIVERY AT 1045 OR 1345 IF TOO WET ON THE DAY.

Join us for a day of leafleting and door-knocking to help Ruth Mersereau and Peter Garbutt get elected in City and Nether Edge & Sharrow wards, respectively, in the 2nd May Council elections.

If you haven’t done any door knocking before, you will be paired with an experienced person.

There will be two sessions, one starting at 10.45am and another starting at 1.45pm, with a lunch break in between. You’ll be welcome at one or both sessions.

We won’t be providing lunch; but you can bring your own or buy something at the lunch-time venue or nearby. And we’ll finish the day with a drink in a local cafe or pub.

Wear sensible clothing and footwear. And bring a bag or backpack for carrying leaflets.

Bus numbers 75, 76, 85, 86, 97, 98 and 218 travel along London Road in Sheffield – you can catch these buses from outside the Town Hall. The Harland cafe is very close to London Road. Get off the bus near the junction of London Road and Hill St.

Please contact Jon Ashe if you need assistance getting to the venue from Sheffield Rail station – it’s about a mile from the Harland cafe so is within easy walking distance
