Please sign up to join Natalie on the streets of Sheffield Central with canvassing and leafleting options plus street stall. The event runs alongside a national Young Greens training and street campaigning event.  Please dress suitably to make a good impression on doorsteps.

Please meet at either 1030 for 1100 or 1330 for 1400 start(s) with vegetarian (possibly vegan) lunch from 1300 to 1400. We expect 50 plus people so please help our organising by arriving within the designated times if you can.

The host location is the green painted house at 60 Marlborough Rd at the junction with Moor Oaks Rd, off Whitham Rd, 200 yards below Broomhill Shopping Centre. There will be posters up in the window.

If travelling via Sheffield station, use the tram Dayrider ticket for about £4.30. The location is 15 minutes walk uphill from Sheffield University tram stop – trams are every 10 minutes from the rear of the rail station. You need the tram track on the station side – trams going to Malin Bridge (blue) only.

Regular bus routes are the 51 or 52 from Church St, S1 2GN – 10 minute walk ahead up the hill from station front via the pedestrian crossing on designated route into city centre to bus stops. Lifts to and from the station at 10.30 and back by 5pm can be pre arranged. Please ask if you need but check your train arrival times first.

Easy car route from the north via M1 junction 36 and A61 ring road to within a mile. The location is a residents parking area with some pay parking on Marlborough Rd (4 hours maximum). Nearest Saturday free parking is 10 mnutes walk away on Hallamgate Rd, S10 5BS or Coombe Rd, S10 1FF.
