Help Coun Alison Teal to get re-elected to Sheffield City Council!

Join us for an afternoon of leaflet delivery and door-knocking on Sunday 18th March to help Alison’s re-election campaign. She has a great reputation, both locally and further afield. But she was elected with a tiny majority in 2016, and her re-election is far from certain. We’d like lots of help in the run-up to the 3rd May Council elections.

Meeting place: Steel City Cakes, 436 Abbeydale Rd, S7 1GN.

Meeting times: 1.45pm and/or 3.45pm. We’ll have two sessions of leaflet delivery and door-knocking – join us for either or both but please arrive for those start times. We’ll finish with a drink at 6pm.

Briefing: We’ll brief you when you arrive. You’ll probably be paired with an experienced local person if you don’t know the area or aren’t an experienced campaigner.

How to get there: Bus nos. 97 & 98 (from the city centre) go to Steel City Cakes cafe.

Refreshments: You can buy food and drink at the cafe or at other nearby cafes or pubs. NB: These get quite crowded on Sundays, so allow plenty of time for ordering. Jon (see below) will be at Steel City Cakes from 1pm onwards.

Wear/bring: Appropriate clothing/footwear – it will be cold on 18th March. And, if possible, bring a pen, phone and backpack (or similar) for carrying leaflets, etc.
