Francois Guesdon is the Green Party candidate for Woodhouse Ward in the local elections on May 6th 2021.
I moved from France to the UK more than 30 years ago, living in Sheffield for the last 23 years. I live in Woodhouse, am a father and grandfather and recent retired after having spent most of the last 20 years teaching at the University of Sheffield.
I am passionate about the environment and have joined the Green Party for its commitments to tackle the climate crisis and improve social justice. I’d like to be elected to help people in the ward directly and have a positive impact in the city, such as improving public transport, making our streets cleaner and safer, and support for special educational needs.
