Tessa Lupton is running to transform Sheffield into a fairer, greener place to live and work. Read our Green manifesto.

I’m Tessa, a local mum and your Green candidate in the May local council elections. I grew up in Ecclesall and have returned as an adult to raise my children. I’ve rediscovered a vibrant community and a profound sense of belonging. It’s something special.
I am working hard to join your Green councillor Peter Gilbert, elected in the last local elections. Peter and I have a long track record of year-round work. We get involved in local community groups, speak to local businesses, knock on people’s doors for a chat, and try to make everyone feel included and heard.
Bringing hope back to Sheffield
Across the country, the Green Party is growing as more people respond to Zack Polanski’s vision of bringing hope back into politics. As your Ecclesall councillor, I will stand up for our community and apply common sense to decision making.
Working for you all year round
I am actively involved in local campaigns to tackle air pollution, improve our green spaces and make our streets safer for women and children. If elected, I will make a real impact, standing up for our community, speaking out for residents in council meetings and pushing forward positive change.
Please use your vote to elect me to Sheffield City Council on 7th May.
