I live in the ward on Deerlands Avenue with my husband. As a secondary school teacher, I am passionate about education and improving political participation amongst young people. I believe everyone should have free access to high-quality educational opportunities at all levels. Government reforms are putting this principle at risk.
I have a BA in Politics, and an MA in Research Methods from the University of Sheffield. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the Peak District, spending time on my allotment, making jams and chutneys and supporting local restaurants.
