Kaltum Rivers is a Green Party councillor for Broomhill & Sharrow Vale ward. Last weekend Kaltum visited the mother of 22 year old Fahim Hersi, who was stabbed to death at Centertainment in September. Kaltum wanted to check that it was ok to talk about her son before going on to Radio Sheffield and Look North (with Saeed Brasab from Unity Gym) this week to talk about youth issues – and write this article based on more than a decade of working with young people in Broomhall.
