Standing up to rogue landlords:

🧰 Making sure homes are kept to a good standard by investigating reports of disrepair and issuing penalties to landlords who break the rules.
Better neighbourhoods with warmer and more affordable council homes:
⚡ Installing insulation, solar panels and heat pumps in council homes.
🌳 Making better use of the space between council homes, dealing with litter and waste, and using more space for nature to recover.
Growing council housing:
🏡 Building and buying new council homes.
🏚️ Taking action on empty homes to bring unoccupied housing back into use and tackle this blight on our streets.
